This is a very clean restaurant. Great food. Tastey and friendly will definitely go back to try other entrees. Today was mozzarella sticks (y'all these are the real deal) side of meatballs and a garlic olive oil pasta.

I’d heard so much about Mama’s Italian House and finally got to try it. I’ll put this simply: the Fettucine Alfredo is the single best Alfredo dish I’ve ever had. The sauce is exceptionally creamy and decadent, pasta was perfectly cooked. I’ll order that every time I show up (which I will do again soon). The garlic bread was also fresh and delicious. The Caesar dressing was tangy and perfect. The fried ravioli appetizer was great. Nothing we had was a negative. Even the Diet Coke was top notch. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Run, don’t walk to Mama’s!

Love it! Great people, easy menu, delicious food, lunch specials, ace brunches -- you can't beat it! I brought my daughter here and we had a great conversation over delicious salads. This is a gem in Shreveport's crown, and you really need to try it out!

We showed up an hour before they closed and they were super friendly & willing to help us. You order at the counter and pay when ordering. It was a little cold in there, but clean. We ordered the fried mushrooms as an app, and they were kind enough to throw some fried ravioli on the plate after my son did the puppy dog eyes at me. The mushrooms were good, and my son loved the fried ravioli. I loved the breading, but didn’t care for the cheese filling, but that was a preference thing, it tasted fine, I’m just not a cheese ravioli person. My husband had the meatball parm sub and said it was good as was the fries & coleslaw. I had the fettuccine Alfredo & added a piece of grilled chicken. It came with a side salad & I chose the house Italian. My salad was lacking, it seemed like I got nothing but the heart of the lettuce as I had very little green, but the house (Italian, which is homemade) was good. The grilled chicken was nothing to write home about, but the Alfredo was AMAZING!! I would highly recommend it over and over again to anyone who asked. My son said the lasagna rivaled mine, so I felt that was a great compliment and I do make a pretty good lasagna. Our meal was $63 before tip and I felt it was worth the cost. Garlic bread came complimentary for the table to share & it was very yummy. They were even kind enough to give us a second loaf, which we brought home. I couldn’t eat all my pasta as there was so much, but I can’t wait to have it for lunch tomorrow. We will definitely be back. I hope they have calamari when we do as they were out. The employees were very kind & I believe it was the chef who stood at the front & talked to us when we ordered. She was training a new person but they were both so kind & willing to chat with us. If you get a chance to go, please do! They are not a chain restaurant, or a Mexican restaurant which seems to be the norm for Shreveport. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you stop by for a meal!

Very nice and quiet. The owner came out to greet me as it was my first time there. She gave me amazing recommendations and all of them that I tried were fantastic. The food is absolutely delicious. Portions are also very large too which is a big check mark. Everything is made in house and fresh and tastes so. I highly recommend this local restaurant!!!
